Pochade Box and Tripod
This all-in-one pochade box and tripod is designed for travel from sea to summit and anywhere in between! As a free-standing tripod, it can be used as a plein air paint support like a french easel. Or utilize the rubber bumpers on the bottom of the box to convert the box to a small table easel for studio use. Both the box and the tripod fold-up easily and fit into their FREE nylon carrying cases!
This portable beechwood Pochade box weights only 10lbs and features 3 large compartments with 2 removable divider slats for adjusting compartments size. Thanks to the hinged adjustment arm, the lid can be fixed at any painting angle, and can even go completely flat for watercolor painting. The bottom compartment is designed to be an adjustable wet panel travel/storage area which allows you to carry 3-4 wet panels ranging in size from 8" x 10" to 9" x 12". This Pochade box comes equipped with a 1/4" camera socket (universal tripod mounting plate)
The extremely sturdy aluminum tripod has telescoping legs making it great for use on uneven ground when Plein air painting. The snap-in quick-release plate makes taking the pochade box on and off tripod a breeze. The head of the tripod is made of metal, is fully adjustable and features both a level and a compass!
