Handmade watercolour, wrapped in beeswaxed cotton instead of plastic
Build your palette with Beam Paints Paintstones, handmade watercolours available in 20 colours. Made in Canada by Beam Paints, an Indigenous-owned family business in M'Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island.
Why You'll Love It
- Lightfast colour: pigments bound with tree sap and gum arabic.
- Plastic-free packaging: a beeswaxed cotton wrapper offers an alternative to the half pan, with a paper label naming each colour.
- Easy to rewet: rich, tactile little paint jewels that rewet beautifully for your next painting session.
- Ethical mica options: shades labelled Ethical Mica use mica sourced from Hartwell, Georgia.
Details
- 20 colour options available.
- 7/8 in across the wrapper; 5/8 in across the paint.
- Fits Beam Paints palettes and tins.

Family-owned in Nelson, BC since 1972, with the biggest selection of art supplies in the Kootenays.
