Lukas Studio Gouache Paint

Lukas Studio Gouache delivers the high opacity and rich colour intensity that artists demand. Formulated with refined pigments and a premium vegetable-based binder, these gouache paints blend effortlessly — making them an excellent choice for colour theory, illustration, and plein air work.

Available in 30 brilliant shades with very good to excellent lightfastness (6–8 on the 8-step wool scale). Colours are odourless, water-soluble, and dry quickly to a velvety matte finish that resists smudging. Apply straight from the tube for full opacity, or dilute with water for a watercolour-like wash. Once dry, colours can be re-wetted and reworked.
