Lukas Studio Gouache

High opacity is the key feature of an excellent gouache colour. LUKAS STUDIO GOUACHE, a fine Artists€™ Gouache colour is made using the most refined pigments and a high-quality binder. The colours blend beautifully, making them ideal for colour theory. The well-balanced color spectrum of 30 brilliant shades enables any number of further color nuances. All shades have a very good to excellent lightfastness (6 to 8 on the 8-step wool scale). These gouache paints are odorless and produced using a vegetable emulsion. The use of selected vegetable glues ensures the excellent fluidity and uniform flow of LUKAS STUDIO GOUACHE. The color-intensive gouache paints can be applied directly from the tube or diluted with water - enabling almost all painting techniques from very opaque when applied purely to watercolors. After drying, the gouache colors can be redissolved with water. The colors dry quickly to a velvety matte finish and are resistant to smudging and erasing making it the ideal medium for quick studies, sketches and plein aire painting. Suitable for all types of absorbent surfaces, like paper, board, canvas, textile, un-glazed ceramics, plaster etc.
